Rise Up, My Love, My Fair One, and Come Away!

"For some, including me, it can be hard to comprehend His love at first, especially if you've only known hardship and abuse. But as time goes on and your daily routine includes spending time with Him, it will become a daily plan which you will look forward to as you long for His Touch, His Love, His Peace, and best of all, words that fill your soul with the Truth of How He Sees YOU."

Seeing Jesus Christ as Your Husband can be a challenge, especially if you are a man. But the Word of God is clear. He is Husband, Father, Best Friend, Provider, Counselor, and Creator to us all, His Bride, men and women alike, all humans He creates.

We have nothing to fear when we know, realize, and believe that He is and will deliver on His promises to us.

"He has brought me to his banqueting place, And his banner over me is love

(waving overhead to protect and comfort me)."

Song of Solomon 2:4 AMP

Metaphorically, the banqueting house was a place for lovers to share a meal, the joy of being together, and to celebrate the intimacy of their relationship. It was a place of protection and provision from the Husband-to-be to His soon-to-be Bride.

The banner, carried and placed, still gives armies today a sense of identity and belonging, a place of refuge, nourishment, and protection from the enemy.

Now let yourself be immersed in His Love today. Imagine the Lord sitting next to you in the quiet as you share with Him your thoughts and emotions. Now... listen, and wait. Can you hear Him? What is He saying to you? Write it down.
